Shipping & Pre-Order Information
All orders are dispatched exclusively from Germany.
1. Shipping within Germany
Shipping within Germany is free of charge. Delivery is handled by DHL as an insured parcel.
2. Shipping within the European Union
Shipping to all member states of the European Union is free of charge. As shipments remain within the EU, no additional customs duties or import taxes apply.
3. International Shipping (outside the EU)
We also ship to countries outside the European Union, including Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the USA, Canada and other destinations. Shipping costs are automatically calculated and displayed in the checkout based on the destination country.
4. Customs, Import Duties and Local Charges
For deliveries to countries outside the European Union, customs duties, import VAT, import taxes and other local charges may apply. These charges are levied by the authorities of the destination country and are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
OCTAVIR does not cover any costs imposed by local customs authorities, tax authorities or other governmental bodies in the destination country. The amount of such charges may vary significantly depending on the destination. We recommend that customers inform themselves about potential charges with the relevant authorities prior to placing an order.
5. Delivery Times
The following delivery times apply from dispatch confirmation and are non-binding estimates. Actual delivery times may vary depending on carrier, destination country and local conditions.

Delays caused by customs clearance in the destination country are not included in the above timeframes.
6. Pre-Order
Certain products are offered on a pre-order basis. This is clearly indicated on the respective product page. By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge that delivery will only take place after the product has been received from production.
Important note on delivery times: Total delivery time consists of two phases.
- Phase 1 — Pre-Order Processing (Dispatch): Orders placed before 30 June 2026: estimated dispatch between 14–22 July 2026. Orders placed from 30 June 2026 onwards are produced to order: estimated dispatch within approximately 2–3 weeks after the order date. All dispatch dates are estimates and may vary. During this time, the product is prepared, quality-checked and handed over to the carrier. You will receive a dispatch confirmation by email once the parcel has left our warehouse.
- Phase 2 — Shipping (Delivery): The delivery time only begins after dispatch confirmation and depends on the destination country (see Section 5).
Example: For an order to Germany placed before 30 June 2026, dispatch is estimated between 14–22 July 2026, plus the delivery time after dispatch. For orders placed from 30 June 2026 onwards, allow approximately 2–3 weeks until dispatch, plus the delivery time after dispatch. For international orders, delivery after dispatch takes longer accordingly.
These timeframes are non-binding estimates and may shift due to production, quality control or logistics reasons. You will be informed by email of any material delays.
